Ooh I do love handmade things and luckily this is widely known among our friends and family! Otis has received some absolutely exquisite hand crafted pressies and I just had to share a couple with you: firstly his beautiful knitted blanket, made by Margaret, who commissioned Annabelle’s Elephant Quilt.
It is a gorgeous piece of work and has lots of hearts in it which I just love! It’s in constant use too.
And these bunny booties, bought by Otis’ great auntie Frances from ‘&Made‘ in Manchester, which are, I think, the very epitome of cute:
And today the postman brought a stunning owl blanket, knitted by Oli’s cousin Polly’s fair hands- absolutely gorgeous!
It uses the same cabling as Sol’s fabulous owl hat and is beautifully soft… wow.
Lucky baby…

Polly was telling me about this last night! Obviously she also told us it was totally rubbish….liar. It’s beautiful and the perfect size! Again, unlike what we were told last night….
Oh I know, Polly takes self-deprecation to new heights… ridiculous as she is sickeningly talented!
Beautiful indeed!
Love love love everything! x
Erm, the sides though…just so wrinkley (too many stitches).
Love the other crafted items – I’d never have the patience for the heart blanket – beautifully done.
Lovely photos (Lovely Otis). xxx
Hud yer weesht woman. x
I forgot to say, I didn’t add any eyes! Pease feel free to do so! x
what a lucky baby (and mummy!!) – he’s beautiful too!
