My sister recently went to Marrakesh and bought some beautiful plates from a stall in the souk. They had taken a wrong turn somewhere and just stumbled upon it. But when they tried to find it again the next day, it was as if the little shop had magically vanished.
The internet can be quite like that, too- I look through all sorts of delectable blogs and tempting shops and if I don’t bookmark them, they sink away into the ether again. I was on a blog not long ago and every week, the blogger posted a photograph, taken from the same spot, of her country lane. Watching the seasons come, change, and go from the same vantage point was really simple, but I loved the idea. I have been scouring the web ever since to ask her if she minded me pinching it, but alas- gone. If any of you know who I’m on about, please get in touch with me! I hope she doesn’t mind too much.

What a great idea! I’m not familiar with the original blog you saw, but I’m looking forward to watching the seasons change in your lane.
thats a great idea, wish we had a pretty view to photograph lol! I keep track of everything now on pinterest as my bookmarks list was far too long to find anything again!
On a similar vein of photography used to portray change, here is an article you’ll enjoy.

And here is the website with all the photos. There are some excellent ones.

Oooh hello, in response to your message I love it. As you know I have moved and sadly no longer have a lane. It’s nice to see it carrying on.
