I found these little wooden people whilst browsing the fabulous Etsy today, and have utterly fallen in love with them! Made in New York by Goose Grease, they would be perfect as a new baby present, or a toddler birthday, or for any reason at all. Imagine how sweet they would look sitting on a shelf. They do custom designed and painted ones too, and wedding cake toppers, but there’s something about the simplicity of these plain ones I just can’t get enough of. Sol loves the two little wooden peg people (Mr. and Mrs. Noah, actually, long since freed from ark and animal drudgery) he has already but would definitely enjoy these. Although I would probably get jealous and keep them for myself!
I also came across this Australian crafter, Eileen, and her blog Touch Wood Designs, and was completely blown away be her felt Scandinavian inspired cushions. They are just gorgeous, and I can’t decide which is my favourite.
She only makes three of each design, so they are very special. Poor little sat-upon, plain cushions in the picture!
I found I have enough green felt to make another Christmas stocking, so am working on that now. Although I am itching to do my own foxes, birds, owls… hmmm…
