Apologies for a lengthy absence- moving house isn’t as swift as it once was. I remember when everything I owned fit into the back of a Corsa and I only had one saucepan and one kitchen knife. No longer. Two little people and all their gear, plus masses of firewood and seemingly endless furniture have made for busy, exciting, exhausting times. So much to do, to plan, to think and dream about. Sol has also started nursery school, amid confusion over which ‘home’ he would be going to at the end of the session, and it has been a real check point for me- growing up is happening, and I don’t know whether he looks really big going off to nursery or really small. He is still little enough, though, not to complain about me making him things. Give it another year or so and I’m sure he’ll be specifying what sort of rucksack he wants for nursery, but for the time being I thought I’d satisfy my pent-up crafty urges and do a little embroidery.
He seemed to like it, the mushrooms especially! Next up: roman blinds. Not very exciting, but necessary!
